Thank you for visiting my hubpages.com home. Writing has been a lifelong passion, a skill which has been fortified by working as a journalist and freelance writer since the 1980s. The complete collection of internet pieces I have authored since 2007 can be found at xtinethewriter.webs.com.

Beyond all else, my #1 purpose in life is to be a mother to my six children, three of whom are still at home. I've taught numerous youngsters, including my own, how to fish, write stories, and play music.

My unfaltering fascination with mass media ultimately branched into 20 years of producing TV commercials and programs for local cable and broadcast stations.

At age 18, I served a tour of duty in Thailand with the US Army. Since the 1980s, my perpetual hobbies have been writing, fishing, and performing original music as a bassist and backup vocalist.
